I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and psychotherapist with more than 20 years of experience as a therapist, school social worker, and educator. My professional path began in the arts—I earned a degree in Art History from the University of Chicago and worked in the fashion industry. This creative foundation still shapes my work today, especially in how I use expression, curiosity, and imagination to support healing.

Wanting to work more directly with people, I completed a Master’s in Education at Harvard University and returned to New York City to teach in both independent and cooperative school settings. As a teacher, I was drawn to students and families who needed support beyond academics, which ultimately inspired me to pursue clinical training and complete my Master’s in Social Work at New York University.

Since then, I have worked in a wide range of clinical settings with adults, children, and families. My therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered. I draw from evidence-based practices while also incorporating creative elements—such as arts-based interventions, play therapy, mindfulness, and narrative work—to help clients explore challenges in meaningful and accessible ways. I also specialize in trauma stewardship, supporting individuals in helping roles who are navigating burnout or chronic stress.

My goal is to create a warm, grounded, and collaborative space where you can reflect, grow, and move toward greater clarity and well-being at a pace that feels right for you.
